Mumbles started his tattoo career in Chicago after getting out of the Navy, making needles and mixing pigments for some of the industry's legends. He pursued a traditional apprenticeship in Denver, then spent five years full-time on the road — working conventions, motorcycle rallies, and guest spots across the country. He even opened his own shop in North Dakota for a couple of years before making his way to Arkansas.
Now settled at Apex Tattoo in Rogers, Mumbles brings that extraordinary breadth of experience to every client. American traditional, cover-ups, black and grey, realism, Japanese, custom work — he has tattooed in more states and more settings than most artists have visited.
